What is your Educational Background?
I am a South Carolina native from Greenville, SC. I graduated from Clemson with my BSN and RN. “Go Tigers”! I came to Charlotte for a job in nursing at Novant. I started as a bedside nurse in the hematology and oncology units and also the stem cell transplant unit. I worked the nightshift and I would see Dr. Favaro come in the early morning to round his patients before I ended my work day. When Dr. Favaro asked me if I was interested in a dayshift oncology nursing position in the Infusion Suite, I thought this was a great change in my career route. And that is how I came to OSC, and the rest is history
