What is your role at OSC?
I am a certified nursing assistant (CNA) 2 and I help out wherever I am needed, infusion suite, take vitals, room patients and get them settled in exam rooms. I mostly work at the south Charlotte office.
What is your background and education?
I am a Charlotte native. I went to Providence High School for two years and then finished at Levine Middle College High School. I have an associate's degree in biological life sciences from CPCC. I am currently a senior studying at UNCC in the nursing program to obtain my BSN (a 4-yr degree, bachelor's degree in nursing). In the future, I hope to continue my nursing career and become an NP, nurse practitioner, by completing a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner. I would like to eventually teach nursing, but I realize I must put in some nursing experience in the field. I am drawn to the field of oncology and also hospice/ end of life care. I ended up at OSC because while enrolled in my nursing education, I needed some volunteer hours in a medical practice. My mom is a breast cancer survivor and a patient of Dr. Favaro. Also Dr. Favaro’s wife’s sister has been my neighbor for a long time. So, the connection was made. After my volunteer hours were fulfilled, OSC hired me to work PRN, while I am in school getting my degree. So, over my summer and winter breaks, you can find me in the clinic working.
What was the last thing you were researching on the Internet?
An easy tiramisu recipe. I love to cook and bake!

Beach, that is what's on my mind right now!
If you could spend a day in someone else’s shoes, who would that be and why?
Harry Styles because I’m crazy about him. I love his music and it would be interesting to see what his life is like for a day.
What Netflix or other show series are you watching now?
I love the Stranger Things series, but I’m waiting for the next and final season to come out. In the interim, I really like watching Grey’s Anatomy, which falls in line with my love for health, body, and medicine. Also, I like the real estate show Selling Sunset.
If you could go on a shopping spree, 1 store, what would that be?
Target, where I can find almost everything I am looking for.
What was nickname in your childhood?
Anna Banana, of course, is a classic one.
What is your favorite summer picnic food?
Watermelon, with salt sprinkled.
