What is your role at OSC? Dispensary Technician. I get approval for oral chemotherapy, authorizations, process prescription claims with insurance, and investigate financial assistance for oral chemo drug prescriptions. If our patients need oral drug therapy, I am the one to navigate the acquisition.
Are you originally from Charlotte? No, but I am an NC native. I was born in Greensboro, NC but moved here 18 years ago when I was a child in elementary school. I have mostly lived in Union County and Matthews.
What is your Educational Background? I graduated a semester early from Porter Ridge High School in Indian Trail to start working. My first career was in the food industry.
What are your hobbies and interests? Shopping! My favorites are Marshalls and T.J. Maxx. I also like to draw and paint. A recent new hobby is preparing for the arrival of our first child, son Tristan Blake, due November 12
What strikes you the most about the uniqueness of OSC? The close communication and bond between coworkers. OSC has a high level of “family environment”
What is your favorite Jelly Belly flavor jelly beans? Mixed Berry Smoothie and Tutti-Frutti
If you could be an animal, what would you be and why? That’s an easy question; I would be a sloth because I like to lounge around. My fiancé said this is my “spirit animal"
What is your favorite summer food? Hamburgers and baked beans!
What was your favorite cartoon when you were a child? I loved The Powerpuff Girls. I had to have the clothing, like pajamas, and accessories with the PP Girls, even my lunchbox.
