Meet our Spotlight on Staff this month, Shereace. She is one of our Financial Counselors and assists patients in getting their treatments approved. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and her beloved dog. Over Thanksgiving she became engaged. Her favorite snack is Lay’s potato chips with hot sauce. If she could have any car she wanted at no cost, she would choose a Tesla Model S. For her 2022 goals she plans to focus more on self-care and be healthier. What is your name? Shereace
What is your role at OSC? Assistant Financial Counselor. I verify benefits, get authorizations for treatments, as well as appeal denials and seek patient assistance programs
What is your Educational Background? I studied biochemistry at UNC-Greensboro. My favorite areas of study were organic chemistry and physical chemistry
What are your hobbies and interests? I really enjoy doing my own fingernails and I get into the art of it. I like hanging out with my dog and spending time with family and friends. I just got engaged over Thanksgiving
What can you share about OSC that would be helpful to a new patient? We are a very patient oriented, family-like care practice. Every single role in the practice works hard to be sure our patients get the best care possible
